    Abstract: A method for separating a sulphur compound from a gas mixture. The method includes contacting a gas mixture with an adsorbent which includes a metal-organic framework (MOF) comprising a tridimensional succession of motifs having the formula: MmOkXlLp wherein, inter glia, M is a metal ion selected from the group consisting of Ti4+, V4+, Zr4+, Mn4+, Si4+, Al3+, Cr3+, V3+, Ga3+, In3+, Mn3+, Mn2+ and Mg2+, L is a spacer ligand including a radical having one or more carboxylate groups.
