  • Patent number: 5242589
Abstract: The main feature of this invention is a water filter, made up of a top cover, multiple layers of filtration containers (with net board at the bottom of each container) piled up unit by unit, an axle double-deck sleeve (with vents made on edges of the sleeve linking to one of the middle filtration containers) set in the middle to link all of the filtration containers and a pedestal, installed under all the other units, that has a control valve with five square vents to allow the control the direction of water current, to go from the water inlet to internal sleeve and top cover, spread out and flow down from all layers of filtration containers, and the exhausted from the water outlet, after accumulation in the pedestal, to perform a direct filtration.

  • Patent number: 5228612
Abstract: This invention, a tape dispenser with a sliding tape axle, is designed to eliminate the problem and disturbance of a loosened or missing tape axle of traditional tape dispensers with separate parts joined together. It uses a structure that fastens the tape axle and the base together. Its tape axle is a cylindrical body with a pair of sliding slots on one side to match a pair of horizontal tenons on a sunken surface of the base, and a pair of tenons at its bottom surface to fix the tape axle into an insertion slot in the sunken surface on one end and a sunken rim on the other side of the tape compartment, restricting the horizontal movement of the tape axle and avoiding its loosening from the base, and thus forming a tape dispenser with a sliding tape axle.

  • Patent number: 5203084
Abstract: An improved structure for a pair of scissors with pincer-clip, especially for the control of the scissors' opening angle when it's opened, and the locking of the scissors when it's closed. This pair of scissors with pincer-clip can achieve its function by moving on one side. The limitation of its opening is achieved by a O-shape buckle that connects to the spring coils on one side and a long groove of the handle on the other side. Following the opening of the pair of scissors, the O-shape buckle moves up and down in the long groove, thus controlling the opening angle of the pair of scissors by the distance between the spring coils and the pivot, and locking the pair of scissors when it's closed.

  • Patent number: 5189794
Abstract: The structure of the shears with a tongs is that a shears overlaps a tongs. There are rivets at the end of the two handles of the two objects. The center hole of the shears cooperates with the round hole of the pivot. The hole of the overlapped parts of the tongs plates is elongated. That makes the tongs plates have more elastic space and move forward and backward in a slanting direction. The noses of the tongs propped by a tension spring can open outwards. When opening, the tongs using the ends of the handles as the axle center makes the shears open as well. Then, the noses of the tongs is a little smaller than that of the shears. When the handles of the shears are forced to clip inwards, the tongs also clips inwards. But when the noses clip the work piece, the noses stop and the edges of the shears keep cutting inwards. The tongs clips the work piece by the force of the tension spring. That the work piece does not fall down when being cut is its feature.

  • Patent number: 5115894
Abstract: This invention is the structure of handles, for attache cases or related products, that can also be used to lock the cases. It uses a pair of tension handles that has insertion poles on opposite ends to fit into the slots on the joints of case shells, and buckles on the other opposite ends to fasten with mortises on the joints of case shells by the use of the handles' tension, thus closing the case tightly and easily for light and safe lifting and carrying.
