    Abstract: A gas fireplace is provided including a first housing having a first upper wall, and a second housing within the first housing having a second upper wall spaced apart from the first upper wall and defining a space there between. A combustion chamber is defined within said second housing. The fireplace further includes an elbow flue for the exhaust of gases generated in the fireplace. The elbow flue is coupled to the second upper wall and extends within the space. The elbow flue is rotatable relative to the upper walls about a vertical axis.
