  • Patent number: 8204209
Abstract: A telephone system comprising an analog telephone and a full-duplex speakerphone adapter is disclosed. The analog telephone comprises an ordinary analog telephone subscriber circuit for transmitting and receiving analog signals and a handset for users. The full-duplex speakerphone adapter is coupled between the analog telephone and a central office, uses a subscriber loop interface circuit through the first telephone line to couple to the ordinary analog telephone subscriber circuit of the analog telephone and uses a telephone hybrid interface circuit through the second telephone line to couple to a wall jack to communicate with the central office.

  • Publication number: 20120010121
Abstract: The fragrant gel polymer system is a process where a complete fragrance formulation remains whole and is then blended with either a polymer or a cross-linking agent. The non-fragrance carrying polymer is then liquefied and made homogenous with a solvent, including esters. The solvents modify viscosity and ease the mixing of the non-fragrance carrying polymer with the fragrance carrying polymer. The method also provides surfactants and wetting agents for further integration and mixing of the fragrance oils with either the polymer or the cross-linking agent during the steps of the process. Mixing of the fragrance carrying polymer and the non-fragrance polymer results in a gel that sets in less time and with less syneresis than existing processes.

  • Patent number: 5392276
Abstract: In a digital communications system with a time-division multiplexed medium having a transmit r.f. channel and a receive r.f. channel on an internal network having a head end multiplexer and interface for external connection of calls, timeslots are allocated to maximize time slot usage between internal calls and external calls by dynamically differentiating between internal call types and external call types, or calls between nodes within the internal network between an internal node on the internal network and an external node connected through a trunk, and, based on differentiation for the external call types, claiming a free timeslot for the internal node on the transmit r.f. channel and using the corresponding timeslot on the receive r.f. channel to establish communication between the internal node and the external node.

  • Patent number: 5032935
Abstract: A circuit for producing a signal whose magnitude is a chosen amplitude compensation characteristic of the signals produced by a magnetoresistive (MR) element comprising an input stage which produces an amplified output signal which is coupled to the output stage, and control signals proportional to the resistance of the MR element and inversely proportional to the resistance of the MR element which are coupled to a feedforward circuit. The feedforward circuit generates a chosen amplitude equalization characteristic of the signals coupled to the feedforward circuit, and this signal is coupled to a bias terminal of the output stage so that the output stage produces a signal representing the chosen amplitude compensation characteristic of the signals produced by the MR element.
