    Abstract: A vending machine includes a rack, a number of storage containers, a controlling chip, and a number of locking modules. The number of storage containers is accommodated in the rack. Each of the locking modules is secured to one corresponding storage container and electrically connected to the controlling chip. In an initial state of the locking modules, the storage containers are secured to the rack. The controlling chip is configured to unlock one of the locking modules to allow the corresponding storage container to be pulled out of the rack.
