  • Patent number: 11999071
Abstract: A trimmer includes a blade assembly including a stationary blade and a movable blade. Each of the stationary blade and the movable blade includes blade teeth. The stationary blade includes a first transverse edge portion, a second transverse edge portion, and a middle portion. The first transverse edge portion includes a first upper surface extending from a first edge to the upper surface. The second transverse edge portion includes a second upper surface extending from a second edge to the upper surface. The first transverse edge portion and the second transverse edge portion are beveled from the middle portion to the respective edges of the stationary blade. The stationary blade is symmetric about a midline of the middle portion. In some embodiments, the trimmer includes a toothed blade guard.

  • Patent number: 10445991
Abstract: A wireless doorbell set includes a wearable ringer (transmitter) and a wireless doorbell receiver, which is responsive to a ring signal transmitted to the receiver from the wearable ringer. The wearable ringer is configured with a removable bracket that may be mounted to a wall such that the wearable ringer may be attached to the removable bracket on the wall, to temporarily position the ringer thereon when it is not worn by a user, and to remove and separate the wearable ringer from the wall-mounted bracket when the user wishes to wear the wearable ringer, for example, on a lanyard that may be placed over the user's head. The wireless doorbell receiver receives the ring signal from the wearable ringer and generates a sound, a light signal or both.

  • Publication number: 20030188563
Abstract: A slider head of a suspension supports a read/write head for data transfer to and from a data storage disk. Deviation from a pitch static attitude and a roll static attitude of the suspension arises due to manufacturing variations, resulting in inefficient data transfer. The deviation results in pitch and roll errors. Various methods have been provided for correcting the pitch and roll errors. The application of conventional methods using conventional apparatus results in the suspension either being damaged or experiencing bending cross-talk. An embodiment of the invention provides two pairs of probes with each probe having a free end for abutting and thereby cooperating for gripping the suspension. Each pair of probes allows for two degrees-of-freedom for respectively adjusting the roll static attitude and the pitch static attitude of the suspension. The contact configuration of the probes substantially reduces bending cross-talk while substantially alleviating damage to the suspension.

  • Publication number: 20030188420
Abstract: A head slider of a suspension supports a read/write head for data transfer to and from a data storage disk. A mounting structure is conventionally used for holding the suspension. A positioning finger applies a force to the suspension for and thereby positions a head slider to a static height for simulating the “flying” action of the head slider in the data storage device. A measuring device measures the static height of the head slider and transmits the same to a controller which generates a control strategy for positioning the head slider of the suspension to the fly-height. An embodiment of the invention uses a common mounting assembly for receiving a plurality of suspensions. The use of a common positioning assembly for simultaneously positioning the head sliders of the plurality of suspensions substantially reduces time consumed and improves efficiency.
