The tubular member comprises a first end attached to the housing and a second end attached the needle bundle to bias the needle bundle to move longitudinally towards the retracted position. The tubular member comprises a thicker first portion and a thinner second portion separated by a slanted boundary, which extends between the first and second ends in both the longitudinal direction and a lateral perimetral direction. The slanted boundary may be helical. The first portion may include a pair of symmetrically arranged slanted ridges.

The biasing member radially biases the needle bundle to slidably engage the guideway such that the guide surfaces of the guideway and the sliding surfaces of the needle bundle form a V-V sliding pair during reciprocal movement of the needle bundle between the retracted position and the extended position.

The grip section comprises a coupling end configured to removably couple with a needle module comprising one or more needles. The upper section comprises a needle actuator for actuating the one or more needles through a shaft extending through the grip section, and a battery power source for supplying electrical power to the needle actuator. The device also comprises a user interface on the upper section, the user interface comprising a display and a touch sensor for detecting finger gestures of a user; and a control circuitry in the upper section for controlling the power supplied to the actuator by the battery power source based on user input received through the user interface.

Abstract: A task scheduler is connected between a central processing unit (CPU) and each hardware accelerator. The task scheduler first obtains a target task (for example, obtains the target task from a memory), and obtains a dependency relationship between the target task and an associated task. When it is determined, based on the dependency relationship, that a first associated task (for example, a prerequisite for executing the target task is that both a task 1 and a task 2 are executed) in the associated task has been executed, it indicates that the target task meets an execution condition, and the task scheduler schedules related hardware accelerators to execute the target task. Based on a dependency relationship between tasks, the task scheduler schedules, through hardware scheduling, each hardware accelerator to execute each task, and delivery of each task is performed through direct hardware access.

Abstract: A method for generating a random number, applied in a random number generator coupled to a flash memory is disclosed. the method comprises: selecting a plurality of cells from the flash memory; initializing the selecting cells of the flash memory; programming the selecting cells to obtain a plurality of first potential values of the selecting cells; re-initializing the selecting cells of the flash memory; re-programming the selecting cells to obtain a plurality of second potential values of the selecting cells; and processing the first potential values and the second potential values according to a predetermined algorithm to generating the random number.

Abstract: A handle for an applicator of coloured liquid to skin comprises a removable needle module and a needle actuator. The needle module comprises a needle. The handle comprises a handle body having top and bottom portions. The top portion is engagable with the needle actuator and has a top opening for receiving a drive shaft of the needle actuator. The bottom portion is removably engagable with the needle module and has a bottom opening for receiving a needle shaft of the needle. A reciprocally movable interface sealingly engages an internal surface of the handle body. The interface separates the bottom opening from the top opening so as to prevent fluid communication from the bottom opening to the top opening, and is configured to abut the drive shaft and the needle shaft during use to allow the drive shaft to indirectly drive the needle shaft.

A needle bundle is movably mounted in the channel, which comprises needle shaft and needles attached thereto. A biasing member is configured and mounted for (i) biasing the needle bundle longitudinally towards a retracted position and (ii) biasing the needles laterally towards a needle-guiding side wall of the housing adjacent the lower open end. The biasing member is configured and mounted to form a fluid seal between the lower and upper open ends. The biasing member comprises an elastic tubular section with opposite sides. The first side has a first rectified length. The second side has a second rectified length longer than the first rectified length so that the second side is less tensioned than the first side to bias the needles towards the needle-guiding side wall.

The power supply comprises a motor driver and a connector for applying variable power to the motor to adjust its speed. A controller integrated with or connected to the power supply for controlling the power supplied to the motor to control its speed comprises microphone for detecting voice command, and processor for processing the voice command and for controlling the power output of the motor driver based on the voice command. A foot pedal comprises a switch connected to the controller. The switch is switchable between on-state and off-state. The controller is configured and operable to receive and respond to the voice command when the switch is on, but to ignore the voice command when the switch is off.

Abstract: A frame includes a substrate, a first priming paint layer, a second priming paint layer, a non-conductive vacuum metallized priming paint layer, and a non-conductive vacuum metallized coating layer. The substrate is made by die casting technology of metal powder. The substrate, the first priming paint layer, the second priming paint layer, the non-conductive vacuum metallized priming paint layer, and the non-conductive vacuum metallized coating layer are stacked in the order written. The disclosure also provides a surface treatment method for the frame.

A needle passage is defined inside the needle tip body for placing a tattoo needle. A needle opening is defined at one end of the needle tip body for the sharp end of the tattoo needle to extend out. The needle opening is communicated with the needle passage. A capillary ink reservoir adapted to receive and retain ink therein by capillary action is disposed on the needle tip body and directly connected to the needle opening whereby the ink reservoir can directly feed ink to the sharp end of the tattoo needle. A needle assembly for a liquid applicator is also provided, in which the needle is biased towards ink storage grooves of the ink reservoir.

Abstract: A method for generating a security feature of a flash memory includes determining a memory block from a plurality of memory blocks in the flash memory; erasing data of the determined memory block of the flash memory; providing a predetermined voltage to the determined memory block to obtain a plurality of corresponding threshold voltages of a plurality of cells in the determined memory block, wherein each of the corresponding threshold voltages corresponds to a characteristic of each cell in the determined memory block; and establishing a security feature based on the plurality of corresponding threshold voltages.

Abstract: An electric actuator includes a motor having a rotary shaft. The electric actuator further includes a vibration damping gasket mounted on the motor. The vibration damping gasket includes an annular body attached around the motor and an end wall formed on one end of the annular body, and the end wall defines a through hole allowing the rotary shaft to pass therethrough. The motor further includes an outer housing, and the annular body of the vibration damping gasket is attached around the outer housing. The end wall of the vibration damping gasket contacts with the end surface of the outer housing. The vibration damping gasket is made from a resilient material. The electric actuator can effectively reduce the mechanical vibration, improve a buffering effect thereof, and hence reduce the noise.
