Abstract: The invention discloses absorbable bone wax having a function of promoting bone repair and a preparation method thereof, falling within the technical field of biomedical materials. The absorbable bone wax comprises the following components in mass percentage: 10%˜50% polyoxypropylene polyoxyethylene block copolymer, 50%˜90% polyoxypropylene polyoxyethylene random copolymer, 0%˜20% strontium substituted hydroxyapatite and 0%˜20% microcrystalline cellulose. The absorbable bone wax has good biocompatibility and degradability, can provide good physiological conditions for absorption in vivo, has excellent mechanical and hemostatic properties, and promotes bone repair.
