Abstract: The present application relates to the technical field of filter structure, and in particular to a filter and an air purifier. The filter is for installation in a mounting frame. The filter includes a filter body. A positioning groove is provided on a side of the filter body facing toward the mounting frame. A positioning protrusion is provided in the mounting frame. The positioning protrusion and the positioning groove are configured to correspond to each other and cooperate with each other. When the filter body is installed in the mounting frame, the positioning protrusion enters the positioning groove.

Abstract: This application belongs to the technical field of water purification apparatus and provides a portable non-electrical water purification system including: a filter element set including a pre-filter element and a mid-filter element, where the mid-filter element includes a reverse osmosis filter element, a nanofiltration filter element, or an ultrafiltration membrane; a water pipeline including an inlet pipe head and an outlet pipe head, where, from the inlet pipe head to the outlet pipe head, the pre-filter element and the mid-filter element are connected in series to the water pipeline; a manual pressurizer provided on the water pipeline and located between the pre-filter element and the mid-filter element; and a case configured to accommodate all or part of the filter element set, the water pipeline, and the manual pressurizer, where the inlet pipe head and the outlet pipe head are connected to outside of the case.

Abstract: Disclosure herein are an implantable cell containing device, its subcomponent scaffold, methods of making the same and their methods of use. The implantable cell containing device includes a scaffold and a cell-containing hydrogel encapsulating the scaffold. The scaffold has a tracheal-like internal system of continuous air-filled, hydrophobic micro-channels that traverse the scaffold's dimensions and a hydrophilic external surface. The implantable cell containing device, when implanted in a subject, can be used for delivering a therapeutic agent to a subject in need thereof for the treatment of various conditions and diseases.

Abstract: The present application relates to implantable therapeutic delivery system, its method of making and use. The therapeutic delivery system includes a nanofiber core substrate having proximal and distal ends, and an interior nanofiber wall defining an internal space extending longitudinally along the core substrate, with one or more therapeutic agents positioned within the internal space. A hydrogel surrounds the nanofiber core substrate, where the hydrogel includes 0.1% to 20% of an alginate mixture. The alginate mixture includes zwitterionically modified alginate and pure alginate in a ratio of 1:1000 to 1000:1 (v/v). Also disclosed is a thermo sealing device useful for the formation of the implantable therapeutic delivery system.

Abstract: The present application relates cell replacement devices, comprising a frame cap and a frame base, where the frame cap includes a first connecting member and one or more ports that traverse a thickness of the frame cap. The frame base of the cell replacement device includes one or more walls defining an interior chamber, defining a first opening to the interior chamber on one side of the frame base, and defining a second opening to the interior chamber on another side of the frame base. The first opening of the frame base is configured to receive the frame cap, and the frame base further includes a second connecting member constructed to connect with the first connecting member. The frame base further comprises a mesh disposed adjacent the second opening.
