The kneeling cushion portion is movably connected to the seat portion and connected to the support portion by a connecting mechanism. The kneeling cushion portion is movable between a first position aligned with the seat portion and a second position in which the kneeling cushion portion constitutes a balance chair cushion. The movement of the seat portion is linked to movement of the kneeling cushion portion.
