Abstract: A rotary stand for an electric appliance enables the electric appliance to be oriented in a desired direction. The rotary stand includes a pedestal having a spherically concave portion and a regulating projection, a mounting plate adapted to support the appliance, and a clamp plate for clamping the mounting plate between the clamp plate and the pedestal so that the mounting plate can be swung either leftwards or rightwards and/or tilted up or down. The angle of any one of swing and tilt of the mounting plate is regulated by causing side edges of the regulating projection to engage corresponding inner side edges of a slot defined in the mounting plate.
