Abstract: One example method for mediating participant interactions during a video webinar meeting includes establishing a video webinar meeting; admitting a host and a plurality of participants to the video webinar meeting; not distributing audio streams from the plurality of participants to other participants in the video webinar meeting; receiving, from a first participant, a first submission to be posed during the video webinar meeting; determining a priority for the first submission based on one or more parameters; and distributing an audio stream associated with the first participant to the host and the remaining plurality of participants based on the priority to enable the first participant to pose the first submission.

Abstract: One example system for providing automated selection of participants for videoconference sub-meetings includes a processor and at least one memory device. The processor establishes a videoconferencing session including a main meeting and a number of participants. The processor can acquire real-time engagement data for the participants in the main meeting. The processor can establish sub-meetings associated with the main meeting and determine a sub-meeting distribution for at least a subset of the participants across the sub-meetings. The sub-meeting distribution can be based on the real-time engagement data. The processor can move participants to the sub-meetings based on the sub-meeting distribution.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for detecting duplicate copies of a media asset and deleting or offloading one of the duplicate copies to different user devices. Specifically, a media guidance application, implemented at user equipment, may be used to record or store media assets from different media sources. The media guidance application may detect a duplicate copy of a previously stored media asset by comparing various attributes of the media asset. After detecting a duplicate copy of a media asset, the media guidance application may determine which of the duplicate copies of the same media asset is to be deleted, or to be transmitted for storage at a different user device.
