    Abstract: A system, method and computer program product are afforded for providing voice-enabled driving directions based on a destination name. Initially, an utterance representative of a destination name is received. In response thereto, the utterance is transcribed utilizing a speech recognition process. Further, a destination address is identified based on the destination name, and an origin address is identified. Based on such destination name and origin address, a database is subsequently queried for generating driving directions.
