  • Publication number: 20250188917
Abstract: A portable gas source (PGS) comprising a housing and a compressor disposed within the housing. The compressor includes a first air inlet, a second air inlet, and an air outlet. The PGS further comprises a compressor dampening system including resilient first and second bellows which are each operatively interposed between the compressor and the housing and adapted to dampen movement of the compressor along multiple axes, with the first and second bellows at least partially defining respective ones of the first and second air inlets, and each fluidly communicating with ambient air. The dampening system also includes, among other structures, resilient first and second side bands which are cooperatively engaged to and extend between the compressor and the housing in opposed relation to each other, each of the first and second side bands likewise being adapted to dampen movement of the compressor along multiple axes.

  • Publication number: 20250189079
Abstract: A portable gas source (PGS) comprising a compressor, a cooling fan, and at least one storage tank in fluid communication with the compressor for storing compressed gas. The PGS further comprises at least one valve which is fluidly connected to the storage tank and is selectively movable between a closed and open positions. An evaporation pad assembly of the PGS is placeable into fluid communication with the storage tank when the valve is actuated to the open position. The evaporation pad assembly comprise a feed ring defining an outlet port which is fluidly connected to the valve such than an open path of fluid communication between the outlet port and the storage tank is established when the valve is actuated to the open position. The evaporation pad assembly also includes at least one evaporation pad which is positioned relative to the feed ring to operatively absorb fluid flowing from the outlet port.

  • Publication number: 20060273981
Abstract: An antenna module for a vehicle communication system can be attached to a vehicle using an attachment arrangement that includes a cast and a single module that incorporates a bolt with an integrated retainer clip. The attachment arrangement acts as its own snap. The retainer clip has a spring mechanism. The installer installs the attachment arrangement to a through hole, for example, in a vehicle roof panel. As the retainer clip passes through the through hole, it collapses around the body of the cast. After the retainer clip passes completely through the through hole, the spring mechanism causes the retainer clip to rebound back to its original span to temporarily hold the antenna module in place. The installer then tightens the bolt, thereby stroking the integrated retainer clip up the cast toward the vehicle roof panel. When the retainer clip contacts the vehicle roof panel, the installer further tightens the bolt to a recommended drive torque.

  • Publication number: 20060244667
Abstract: An antenna structure and assembly is disclosed. The antenna structure includes a case that provides a capacitive coupling between a ground plane and a circuit board assembly that includes a low noise amplifier and satellite antenna. The case includes a metal impregnated thermoplastic resin. The ground plane may include at least one resilient fastener receiving portion that permits passage and frictional retention of at least one integrated fastening portion extending from the case. The antenna structure includes a cover portion placed over and ultrasonically welded to the case for encapsulating the circuit board assembly. A method for manufacturing the antenna structure is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20050093755
Abstract: A fastening structure for an antenna module assembly is disclosed. The fastening structure for an antenna module assembly includes a cover, a gasket inner seal, a circuit board including at least one antenna element, and a base. The gasket inner seal is placed over the circuit board. The gasket inner seal and circuit board are intermediately located between the cover and the base. The base includes a plurality of beveled snap-tab receiving portions integrally located about a base perimeter. The beveled snap-tab receiving portions engage an inner perimeter of the cover defined by flexible snap-tabs to fasten and matingly secure the cover to the base.
