Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for displaying multimedia content on a device corresponding to a platform are described. The multimedia content includes a plurality of items. The method and system include determining at least one attribute associated with an item of the plurality of items. The method and system also include placing the item in a cluster based on the attribute(s) and without requiring user-selection of the item. The cluster includes at least a portion of the items. The method and system further include rendering a slideshow of the cluster as a formatted slideshow. The formatted slideshow corresponds to the platform. The method and system further include providing the formatted slideshow to the device for display.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for displaying items of multimedia content are described. In one aspect, the method and system include determining attribute(s) associated with each item and determining a size and/or a location of each of a first portion of the items based on the attribute(s). The size and location of one item is different from the size and location of another item. The method and system also include displaying at least a second portion of the items together in a planar distribution in which each item has the size and location determined using the attributes. In another aspect, the method and system include determining an ambient color of an item. The item has a plurality of colors on which the ambient color is based. In this aspect, the method and system also include determining a frame including the ambient color and displaying the item in the frame.

Abstract: A method and system for displaying and organizing content are described. In one aspect, the method and system include an embeddable display widget that receives content pushed to the display widget, provides input regarding the content, and plays the content. In another aspect, the method and system provide content to a page. In this aspect, the method and system include providing container(s) for storing content, providing an interface, and providing a plurality of commands. The interface includes first and second modules for pushing content to and listening for input from the page. The commands are for accessing the content in the container and for providing the content to the page based on the input. In another aspect, the content includes items stored in a container. In this aspect, the method and system include displaying item(s), allowing a user to provide input regarding at least some item(s), sorting the item(s) based on the input, and displaying the item(s) based on the input.
