  • Patent number: 11786996
Abstract: The screwdriving system for connection of components that require high contact pressures for their screw connection, having a screwdriving unit which is connected to an articulated robot, wherein the screwdriving unit contains a motor for the rotary drive, an actuator for the linear drive, a gear mechanism, a torque shaft, a tool holder for a screwdriving tool and a feed head which is supplied with screws, which are held in the feed head during the screwing-in operation, the tool holder, the screwdriving tool and the feed head being arranged on a common screw axis, includes an articulated bearing arrangement, the pivoting of which is able to compensate for a deflection of a robot axis of the articulated robot caused by contact pressures and for a tilted position of the screwdriving unit resulting therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20110132148
Abstract: A nut screwing device for screwing a nut onto a rivet which is provided on the end opposite the rivet head with a blind hole having a contour that is not round in cross-section, comprising at least one drive which is drivingly connected via a transmission to a screw-in tool that has an accommodating opening for inserting the nut, characterized in that the nut screwing device comprises an anti-rotation means having a chamber in which an anti-rotation element (bit) is movably arranged that has a head section, which substantially fills the cross-section of the chamber, a shaft section, and an adjoining end section with a contour identical with that of the blind hole, the chamber being arranged adjacent the screw-in tool and comprising a central exit opening for the shaft with the end section of the anti-rotation element and being provided on the edge of the exit opening with a surrounding shoulder as a stop for the head section of the anti-rotation element (bit).

  • Patent number: 7346970
Abstract: The setting device for blind rivet nuts is characterized by an electric motor with a drive shaft which is arranged in a first housing part and connected via a transmission means to a tool housing part which is arranged in parallel with the drive shaft, a tool shaft which is arranged in the tool housing part and to which a tool is non-rotationally connected, a locking means with which the tool housing part and the tool shaft can be non-rotationally coupled, an anti-rotation means with which the tool shaft can be blocked against rotation, and a spindle means which in the rotation-blocked state of the tool shaft creates a relative axial movement between the tool shaft and the tool housing part. The locking means and the anti-rotation means are preferably formed by a joint coupling means.
