  • Patent number: 11611075
Abstract: The present invention provides the compound LiMn2--x-yNaxMyO4/Na1-zMnLizMtO2/Na2CO3, to be used as a positive electrode for rechargeable lithium ion battery, where M is a metal or metalloid, 0.0?x?0.5; 0.0?y?0.5; 0.1?z?0.5; 0.0?t?0.3; as well as the method for producing it. The synthesis process includes disolving or mixing the precursor metals and then calcining them in air or controlled atmosphere in a temperature range between 250° C. and 1000° C., and for a time range of 0.5 h to 72 h to obtain the composite proposed with the interaction of its three present phases, presenting a high retention capacity during repeated loading/unloading cycles and excellent discharge capacity both at room temperature and up to 55° C.

  • Publication number: 20220336785
Abstract: A positive electrode of an active material of interconnected polycrystalline and porous particles for secondary battery has been developed to achieve greater diffusion, excellent specific capacity and life cycle. The active material of the positive electrode for secondary battery is obtained from a hot-pressing process to which the composite fiber membrane is subjected with the precursors of the active metals and the polymer, obtaining morphologies such as monocrystalline particles, two-dimensional plates, and bars.

  • Patent number: 11427842
Abstract: The complex chemistry underlying the extensive transformations involved in terpene indole alkaloid synthesis makes identification of the biosynthetic genes challenging. The present invention relates to methods for producing a terpene indole alkaloid derivative, comprising the steps of: (1) providing a terpene indole alkaloid; and (2) providing a first enzyme termed “Precondylocarpine Acetate Synthase” (PAS) or a functional variant or homologue thereof; and/or a second enzyme termed “Dehydroprecondylocarpine Acetate Synthase” (DPAS) or a functional variant or homologue thereof, and optionally providing further identified enzymes involved in this pathway. The invention also encompasses related kits, enzymes, expression vectors, host cells and plants.

  • Publication number: 20100143975
Abstract: Monoterpenoid esters that have been modified to include a sugar pendant group are disclosed. Plant glycosyltransferase enzymes are provided that function to add a sugar, typically glucose, to monoterpenoids in a bioreactor for the production of glycosylated monoterpenoid esters, together with nucleic acid molecules encoding such enzymes and vectors and transgenic cells including such nucleic acid molecules.
