  • Publication number: 20230206434
Abstract: Determining spatial analysis data in images each depicting a proximate serial tissue section obtained from a tissue sample. The stained tissue sections include markers (object, markers, etc.) that correspond to material in the tissue sample. The images each include data depicting the markers of the stained tissue sections corresponding to the image. The images are registered and “overlayed” to form a representation of the tissue sample such that intra-section and inter-section measurements between markers in the images correspond to measurements of corresponding material in the tissue sample. A process determines intra-section and/or inter-section measurements between locations of data depicting markers in the images, the measurements representing a distance in 3D space between objects in the tissue sample associated with the markers, and the measurements are stored for use in subsequent processing, for example, spatial analysis of the markers.

  • Patent number: 10863239
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for provisioning or updating software over a network. In one embodiment, the network comprises a cable network, and each particular client device (e.g., set-top box) on the network is identified by an address or other unique descriptor. A version association file stored on a server or downloaded to the device maps particular application versions to one or more addresses corresponding to individual client devices. When the version association file is modified or created, the server transmits an upgrade message over the network (optionally along with the current version association file). Upon receiving an upgrade message, a set-top box accesses the version association file, and compares a designated application version to that of the application currently in use. If the designated version is not present on the set-top, the box will terminate any old version of the application currently running and download and install the designated version.

  • Publication number: 20170055746
Abstract: A table cover which comprises a silicone material, which comprises top and bottom surfaces. As opposed to conventional table covers, the table cover provides a flexible, unitary cover with excellent surface properties for dining and work space. Further, the bottom surface establishes a non-slip contact with the table surface to prevent the cover from sliding around of off of the table. The table cover may be configured and secured in a rolled position for storage and easy application to the table surface.

  • Patent number: 9111470
Abstract: A portable display system having a portable housing including a base for supporting the housing on a flat surface and including an electroluminescent display panel which is flexible and provided in a first extended orientation wherein the display panel is visible to a bystander and a second rolled orientation with the display panel returned into a housing interior. An elongated frame supports the display panel in the first extended orientation, with the frame including a first end which engages the housing and a second end that engages the display panel. A return mechanism, such as a spring return, is provided within the housing for retracting the display panel from the first extended orientation into the second retracted orientation.

  • Patent number: 6656998
Abstract: Water-borne paints having an ASTM 60° gloss value of at least 10 are formulated with a latex of a copolymer of vinyl acetate and ethylene or alkyl acrylate having a dry glass transition temperature (Tg) below 20° C. and a latex of a polymer of vinyl acetate having a dry Tg above room temperature but a Tg when wet below 23° C. so that it is film-forming from the latex at room temperature. These paints are suitable for service as satin, semi-gloss or high gloss coatings but preferably are used as semi-gloss paints. The addition of the higher Tg polymer of vinyl acetate to the lower Tg copolymer provides a paint free with low to no volatile organic content but exhibiting improved blocking resistance without significant reduction in gloss.
