The label device is in a side of the container, and has a compartment into which the user can place a label indicating the contents of the container, and from which the user can remove the label. The compartment includes a window through which the label can be viewed from outside of the container. The container and label device are constructed so that the label can be placed in and removed from the compartment only from the interior of the container.
