Abstract: Various techniques for managing caregiver burnout risk. One exemplary method includes receiving, over one or more electronic communication networks from a plurality of clinical data sources in a clinical environment, data associated with a caregiver having a plurality of patients. The method includes calculating, by one or more processors based on the data associated with the caregiver, at least one of a workload burnout risk score, an emotional burnout risk score, and physical burnout risk score for the caregiver. The method includes calculating, by the one or more processors based on at least one of the workload burnout risk score, the emotional burnout risk score, and the physical burnout risk score for the caregiver, a burnout risk score for the caregiver. The method includes determining, by the one or more processers, that the burnout risk score is greater than a threshold, and generating a report based on a determination that the burnout risk score is greater than the threshold.

  • Publication number: 20220257163
Abstract: This disclosure is directed towards a patient management system for anticipating patient needs associated with toileting. In some examples, a computing device of the patient management system determines a toilet need schedule for a patient based on conditions of the patient (e.g., from an electronic medical record of the patient) and/or events that occur associated with the patient, such as meals or beverages consumed, toileting events, medications taken, and so forth. Additionally, the patient management system may sense when a patient is moving towards a patient relief device, when the patient is using the patient relief device, and/or when the patient has concluded using the patient relief device. Such information may be provided to a healthcare provider so that the healthcare provider may assist with toileting needs to increase safety of the patient and/or to reduce accidents associated with toileting needs of the patient.

  • Publication number: 20220230714
Abstract: Various techniques for assisting care providers with workflows and handoffs are described. An example method includes identifying patient data that includes message data, electronic medical record (EMR) data, and sensor data. The message data includes at least one text, audio, or video message about a patient. The EMR data includes at least a portion of an EMR of the patient. The sensor data includes at least one image the patient detected by a camera mounted on a hospital bed on which the patient is supported. The example method further includes determining, based on the patient data, a condition of the patient and a task associated with the patient. A report including the condition of the patient and the task is generated and transmitted to a computing device associated with the care provider.

  • Patent number: 11367535
Abstract: An apparatus for remote at-home care of a patient is disclosed. The apparatus monitors a patient with a deployable sensor system and communicates the data sensed by the sensor system to a patient care hub located within a patient's home. A patient interface and a caregiver controller are in wireless communication with each other and the patient care hub. The patient care hub generates an alert(s) in view of the sensed data and wirelessly communicates the alert(s) to the patient interface and/or the caregiver controller.
