    Abstract: A method for managing workflow in a pharmacy includes receiving a pharmaceutical prescription and assigning to it a priority and a time at which the prescription is to be filled. The prescription and assigned information are entered into a first “triage queue”; high-priority prescriptions are selected from this queue for filling. These prescriptions may then be entered into a second “production queue.
