    Abstract: A pick-up for handicraft items and accessories consists of a stick having an adhering member on one end of the stick. The adhering member may be hook material of hook and loop fasteners, or it may be adhesive of the type that remains tacky. The stick may have a ring to be supported by a person's finger, or may be long enough to be grasped by the hand. A kit for the pick-ups includes a bottle of the adhesive and several sticks. The package for the kit has a cradle to hold a stick when not in use, and provides a base for the bottle of adhesive.

    Abstract: A threaded needle holder for needle craft projects is disclosed. The needle holder is made up of a rectangular card with a magnet parallel to one long edge of the card. A plurality of slits spaced along the long edge act to receive thread carried by needles received on the magnet. The needle will extend across the magnet to a line on the opposite side, the line receiving the number or the like for the color thread in the needle. The name of the project being worked on can also be placed on the card. Optionally, magnets can be fixed to the rear of the card to allow the needle holder to be mounted on a magnet board.

    Abstract: A magnifier for use in needlework. The magnifier has magnets at each end to allow the magnifier to stick to the usual magnet board over a graph or pattern being worked on. A reference line on the magnifier provides a convenient way to keep the place being worked on, and allows a person to see above and below the line to keep the work in context with the entire pattern.

    Abstract: A storage case for needlecraft materials and the like, with an extender for the case. The storage case has three sections hinged together so the case can be folded into thirds, each of the three sections having pockets for storing materials for easy retrieval. At least one section has a sub-divided pocket for receiving knitting needles. A flap above the sub-divided pocket can either cover the ends of short needles, or lie against the backing to allow long needles to pass over the flap. Another flap is positioned to cover the ends of the long needles. One end section has a large pocket opening towards the hinge. An extender is foldable about its hinge into two sections. One section of the extender can be placed into the large pocket, and the entire case can be closed as one case.

    Abstract: An embroidery project accessory carrying case for conveniently transporting the materials for at least one embroidery or other needlework project. The carrying case has a flexible backing sheet with storage pockets at each end. One end of the backing sheet includes a main pocket and a secondary pocket with a single flap to close both pockets, these pockets being adapted to receive the tools and bulky items of needlework materials. The other end of the backing sheet includes a large pocket and a shallow pocket. The large pocket is adapted to receive pattern books and the like while the shallow pocket receives a supply of thread. Fastening devices are attached to the carrying case such that the backing sheet can be folded twice--into thirds--and fastening devices will hold the case in this condition; and, the backing sheet can be folded once--into half--and the fastening devices will hold the case in this condition. The case can be bent backwards or laid flat for access to the materials.

    Abstract: A thread storage apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a plurality of storage cards having holes along one edge for receiving loops of thread, and holes along the opposite edge for holding the cards in an expandable binder. The loops of yarn extend into a pocket to secure the free ends of the loops of thread, and the pocket is foldable over the back panel of the binder. Top and bottom end flaps may be provided to close the ends of the binder, and a front panel is provided as a front closure. An index card may be provided to assist in locating threads, and a use card may be provided for separating thread required for one project.
