    Abstract: A band guiding device for a saw band of a machine saw, having sliding blocks 3 for a sliding contact with the saw band and having a support 2 which can be mounted on the machine saw and on which the sliding blocks 3 are held. The sliding blocks 3 are held on the support 2 by releasable fastening elements 9, 12. The support 2 includes a substantially flat mounting surface 13 for mounting the sliding blocks 3. This mounting surface 13 is provided with a plurality of fastening points 9 for the sliding blocks 3, wherein the number of fastening points 9 is greater than the number of sliding blocks 3.

    Abstract: A throttle-valve apparatus involves a throttle valve (D) mounted on a shaft (W) which is coupled to a cable line (S) for rotating the shaft. The apparatus includes a first engaging detent, or stop, mechanism, (A1) having a movable engagement point between the cable line and the shaft, a first coupling apparatus (K1) between the cable line and the shaft, and a positioning motor (M) which creates a throttle-valve apparatus whose operation, in a particular uncomplicated and cost effective manner, increases safety and dependability during operation of a motor vehicle. When the positioning motor is driven to drive the throttle valve it is relieved from overcoming a return force of a spring by the first coupling apparatus which includes a first coupling having a changeable or cancellable driving linkage whereby a driving engagement of the linkage is greatest in an immediate area of the movable engagement point of the detent mechanism.

A bridge which is pivotably mounted on a frame carries a rotatably mounted ratchet and a pivotably mounted pawl which, when the bridge is rotated by a magnet to elevate the bridge, is caused to react with a frame part and pivot relative to and to drive the ratchet to feed ribbon.

    Abstract: Side frames supporting mechanisms of a machine are provided with lugs for plug-in insertion into slots in a base housing for the machine which form the sole connection to the side frames. The base housing slots and the lugs on the side frames are so located as to provide side to side and front to back rigidity. Resilient material between the lugs and slots serve to frictionally clamp and secure the connections. The base housing includes detent structure to removably secure a cover housing to the base housing.
