    Abstract: A gas generator for filling an airbag of a vehicle is provided. The gas generator can be integrated into the vehicle in such a way that it is electrically insulated from the same, and can be directly connected to the electrical ground of the vehicle, especially to a defined ground potential, by means of a separate ground connection. The separate ground connection thus provides an improved ground connection of the gas generator.
