  • Patent number: 5143211
Abstract: In a multi-chamber container (1), in which is accomodated at least one chamber partition wall (4) movable through the two chambers and having at least one orifice (8) which makes a connection between the two adjacent chambers (2, 3) and interacts with a shutoff member and which can be opened and closed via a tappet (10) actuable from outside, the chamber partition wall (4) sealed off on the inside of the container being movable through the container (1), according to the invention the orifice (8) in the chamber partition wall (4) is equipped to receive a thread of a valve spindle (23) which can be screwed in by means of the tappet and which terminates at a stop (24) interacting with one side (26) of the chamber partition wall (4) and at a valve plate (32) formed by a ring (32) of the rod and ensuring sealing on the opposite side (35) of the chamber partition wall (4), the valve plate (24) and the stop (32) being layable onto their seats (27, 23) as a result of an alternating rotation of the rod (10), and the

  • Patent number: 5012951
Abstract: A hopper for use with a hollow cylindrical container open at one end. The open container end has an exposed edge. The hopper comprises a plurality of at least two partial hoppers, the partial hoppers extending generally at right angles to the axis of the container and being disposed one below the other. All partial hoppers are secured together, each partial hopper having an outer periphery of the same shape as the periphery of the open container end. At least the uppermost partial hopper has its peripheral edge secured to the exposed edge of the open container end. All partial hoppers have a common opening spaced inwardly from the peripheries of the partial hoppers and have a common center aligned with the axis of the container.

  • Patent number: 4801046
Abstract: A container includes a vertical main cylindrical container open at an upper end and at least two vertical internal containers disposed side by side in the main container. A double wall cover closes the upper end of the main container. The cover includes at least two neck portions one disposed below the other. Each neck portion has an outer periphery of the same shape as the periphery of the open end of the main container. The cover has a plurality of openings equal in number to the pluraity of internal containers, each opening being connected to the open end of the corresponding container. A plurality of discharge valves equal in number to the plurality of the internal containers are provided. A piston is provided in the main container. Each valve is coupled to a corresponding opening and extends above the cover in the direction of the axis of the main container.

  • Patent number: 4651899
Abstract: An additional container (29) for receiving further components is arranged in the container (21) for discharging preferably polyurethane foam. The additional container (29) receives a rod (37) cooperating with an inner cover (45) sealed in said container (29). The rod is led to the outside through a packing (31) in an additional container connection connected to the bottom (20) of container (21) and is movable into container (21) for blowing off cover (45). A disk (24) inserted in a recess of container bottom (20) and fixed by its beaded edge secures a sleeve (31) penetrated by the rod (37) constructed as an axially movable plunger. The outer and inner edges (39, 40) of sleeve (31) bring about a sealing action on in each case one radial collar (38, 39) of the plunger when rod (37) is inserted, and resiliently gives way during the axial movement of the plunger.
