  • Patent number: 11925736
Abstract: Dialyzer systems can consolidate multiple technologies and functionalities of blood treatment systems in a significantly integrated fashion. For example, this disclosure describes dialyzer systems that include a magnetically driven and magnetically levitating pump rotor integrated into the dialyzer. Such a dialyzer can be used with treatment modules that include a magnetic field-generating pump drive unit. In some embodiments, the dialyzers include pressure sensor chambers with flexible membranes with which corresponding pressure transducers of the treatment modules can interface to detect arterial and/or venous pressures.

  • Patent number: 4991126
Abstract: The automatic orientation device according to the invention for walkers and the blind is a small light weight and easily man-carried instrument. It contains an electronic-digital-calculating for continually determining the vectorial sum of the steps made by converting these steps into electrical pulses proportional to the strides and by automatic determination of the direction by means of a direction emitter in order to calculate the distance and direction covered from the point of departure. Whether by walking, running or horse riding the user is thus provided with optical or acoustic indicating or with perceptible vibrations indicating the distance and direction from the point of departure. In this way any person, including the blind, can find his way to the point of departure without any means of assistance, or geographical map or town plan, and in particular when the visibility is extremely poor.

  • Patent number: 4053729
Abstract: This invention relates to a chatter-free arrangement of masses especially for such a chatter-proof arrangement in electrical switches and mechanical interrupters of current of all kinds. The arrangement of masses disclosed is constructed so that the kinetic energy of the two masses of pushing partners being pushed is absorbed by additional damping masses arranged in the direction of the push. The mass of the following mass or masses, in the direction pointing away from the two primary masses of the pushing partners is constructed to that the additional and successive mass or masses is decreasing and in that same direction the elasticity and the energy loss factor and, or the mobility of the additional masses is increasing. Such decreasing masses permit lighter chatter-free constructions and permits not only stationary parts but also moving parts to be provided with chatter-free arrangements, especially for example in electrical contacts.
