  • Patent number: 4983915
Abstract: A device for determining the rotary-angle position of rotary drives which can also determine the rotary speed. A magnet rotor generating a rotating magnetic field is provided for the purpose of determining the rotary speed with a cam disc suited for screening magnetic field lines, and to arrange coacting inductive transmitter and receiver heads on both sides of the cam disc, for determining the rotary-angle position. Due to the fact that the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the transmitter head is screened, the output signal of the receiver heads obtained is an envelope-modulated signal which can be evaluated for determining the position, for example by phase comparisons with additional envelope-modulated output signals of other receiver heads. The axial magnetization lines emanating simultaneously from the magnet rotor serve for inducing electric voltages in flat coils arranged axially before the magnet rotor, in overlapping annular shape.

  • Patent number: 4868443
Abstract: In connection with a tachogenerator for rotary drives, in particular for electric motors, it is proposed to provide, in axially layered arrangement and in succession, one driven rotor with axially extending, structured main magnetization, and adjacent thereto at least one coil carrier disk on which flat coils with radially extending main phase windings (spoke-like webs) are seated. For correcting the voltage supplied, mainly as regards the roof curve, one makes use of peripheral base and/or connecting webs which connect the spoke-like webs and which are subjected to special shaping measures and are likewise arranged in the active magnetic area of the magnet rotor. The magnet rotor further carries a cam disk serving, by its special shape, to screen fully or partially, or to release coacting inductive transmitter/receiver heads.

  • Patent number: 4864175
Abstract: In connection with a rotor for an electric motor, in particular a disk-type rotor comprising flat magnets being arranged in the form of angular segments and in spaced relationship and supported by supporting disks mounted on both sides of a central hub, it is proposed to provide the supporting disks with window-like openings corresponding to the contour of the said flat magnets so that the flat magnets are seated between the supporting disks without a cover in the axial direction and are secured by them against the effects of centrifugal forces in the sense of rotation and by an integrally formed outer marginal ring, the flat magnets being additionally guided and secured in the axial direction by inner projections formed integrally with the inner central annular disk area. The spoke-like webs which taper towards each other between the flat magnets form together with the outer integrally formed hoop-like ring a stiff triangular structure.
