    Abstract: The invention relates to a printable composition having a viscosity of 1-1000 mPas and comprising a) 5-50% by weight of superabsorbent polymeric particles, b) 10-40% by weight of at least one organic, water-insoluble binder, c) 0-10% by weight of at least one additive and d) 40-80% by weight of at least one organic solvent. The invention further relates to sheetlike materials printed with the printable composition on at least one surface. The invention further relates to the use of the printed sheetlike materials for food packaging, for packaging moisture-sensitive goods, for moisture control in rooms, or as a membrane in textiles.
