  • Patent number: 6076547
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for operating a mechanism (5) of a rinsing fixture, in particular for operating a closing and opening mechanism or a locking mechanism of a rinsing fixture. It shows a float (28) and a first hydraulic or pneumatic force means (15) that shows a regulating unit (16) that is controllable through a float. A second hydraulic or pneumatic force means (9), which has a regulating unit (8) that is connected hydraulically or pneumatically with the regulating unit of the first force means, has an active connection with the mechanism (5).According to the invention it is planned that upon rising the float, in opposition to a restoring force, drives the regulating unit of the first force means for operating the mechanism, that the float upon sinking is uncoupled from the regulating unit of the first force means, and that a valve (12) is arranged in the connection (11, 13) of the two force means.

  • Patent number: 5887613
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for the regulation of a constant outflow from a liquid container, in particular from a rain reservoir, with an outflow opening for the liquid, wherein to the outflow opening is assigned a movable throttle element, which in dependence on the liquid level regulates the outflow of the liquid from the container.According to the invention, it is proposed that a component part (2) that is form-changeable in dependence on the fluid pressure control the throttle element, wherein takes place the stopping-down movement of the throttle element against a restoring force (spring 5).A device of this sort makes possible a regulation of a constant outflow from a fluid container, without requiring for this the use of a float.

  • Patent number: 5857472
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for rinsing a fluid-storage space that is provided with a rising chamber fillable with a fluid arranged in the region of the high point of the storage-space floor, which chamber, when the storage space runs empty, abruptly lets the fluid run out through a rinse opening as a rinsing torrent. The rinsing device has a container that serves to hold the rinse fluid; the container is either raisable, so that rinse fluid floods out through its bottom opening, or else the upper edge of the container is lowerable, so that the rinse fluid, coming forth from here, can flood out radially.

  • Patent number: 4800907
Abstract: The invention concerns a storage space for liquids, especially a rain-basin or sewer-backup space, with at least one flushing chamber that is positioned at the maximum height of the bottom of the storage space, that can be filled with storage liquid, and that emits the storage liquid in the form of a torrent of flushing water through at least one flushing opening when the storage space empties. The object of the invention is accordingly a storage space for liquids with a flushing device wherein the storage space fills automatically and wherein the flushing process is automatically initiated subsequent to each storage process without outside energy. This object is attained in that the flushing chamber automatically fills with storage liquid as the level of storage liquid rises, means of retaining the storage liquid in the flushing chamber once it has arrived therein are provided, and the flushing opening is closed off and opened up by a closure controlled by the level of storage liquid in the storage space.

  • Patent number: 4582083
Abstract: In a discharge regulator for outlets from liquid containers, in particular rain runoff retention reservoirs, in which a regulator plate or diaphragm is guided in front of the outlet opening and is operatively connected to a float by means of transmission elements which may at the same time be control elements, the regulator (1) is guided pivotally in front of the outlet opening (2) and is mounted above the latter on a fixed rotation axis (4) jointly with a disk (3) on a base plate (11). A transmission element (5) or (12) connects the disk (3) to a second upper rotation axis (7) on which a disk (6) is operatively connected to a float arm (8) and then via the latter to the float (9) (FIG. 1). The float (9) and float arm (8) as well as the plate (1) can optionally be arranged on alternate sides. Apart from these components all the other drive and transmission elements may be protected by a hood.
