    Abstract: A container for retaining clipped nails comprising a hollow shell having a first opening and a second opening, the first opening being adapted to receive a digit and the second opening being adapted to receive a cutting tool, wherein the digit extends through the first opening into the interior of the container and contacts the cutting tool which extends through the second opening into the interior of the container. During the application of the cutting tool to the nail of the digit, the trimmed nails are retained by the shell.
