Abstract: Dyestuffs of the formula: ##STR1## in which R represents a hydroxy, amino, alkylamino or cyclo-alkylamino group, or a residue of the formula: ##STR2## n is equal to 0 or 1, X represents a hydrogen or halogen atom, a sulphonic group or an alkyl residue containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, Y represents a hydrogen atom or a sulphonic group in position 5, 6, 7 or 8 at least one of the symbols X and Y representing a sulphonic group if n is equal to 0; process for the preparation of such dyestuffs; process for the coloration of natural or synthetic polyamide fibres with such dyestuffs and natural or synthetic polyamides dyed or printed with such dyestuffs.

Abstract: The preparation of pigment compositions with a copper phthalocyanine base, stable to crystallization is described.There is incorporated in the copper phthalocyanine pigments to be stabilized a compound of the general formula: ##SPC1##Wherein Pc represents a phthalocyanine residue, moiety or radical, X represents oxygen or sulfur or --NH-- bridge, R.sub.1 represents halogen or alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethoxy, cyano, carboxy, nitro, N-alkylamino or N,N-dialkylamino, R.sub.2 represents hydrogen, or alkyl or alkoxy group, R.sub.3 represents hydrogen or alkyl, n is a number from 1 to 8, R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 may occupy the ortho, meta or para positions of the benzene ring.The pigment compositions according to the invention are particularly well suited for the coloring of printed inks.

Abstract: The preparation of pigment compositions with a base of copper phthalocyanine is disclosed, which pigments are stable to crystallization.There is incorporated in the copper phthalocyanine pigments to be stabilized a compound of the formula:Wherein Pc represents phthalocyanine, A represents alkyl, cycloalkyl, unsubstituted aralkyl or aralkyl substituted by low molecular weight alkyl groups, and n is a number from 1 to 8.The stabilized pigment compositions according to the invention are particularly well suited for coloring printing inks.

Abstract: A process for the preparation of copper phthalocyanine which comprises heating 4 moles of phthalodinitrile with about 1 mole of cuprous chloride at a temperature of from 140.degree. to 300.degree.C. in the presence of 10% to 30%, with respect to the weight of phthalodinitrile, of an ammonium salt which decomposes at a temperature of from 30.degree. to 200.degree.C. with the liberation of ammonia; and copper phthalocyanine prepared by this process.
