    Abstract: A collapsible awning is assembled from various elements. An awning case has supporting brackets. A roll-up shaft has one end of the awning fabric fixed thereon. On the other end of the fabric a front lead rail is fixed. The front rail closes the awning case, when the awning is completely rolled up. Stretching arms are used to maintain the front rail outward and the awning fabric stretched during the up and down movement of the awning. A locking device holds the awning in the awning case. A driving device connected to the roll-up shaft is electrically or mechanically controlled.
