  • Publication number: 20230372814
Abstract: A method for reducing a latency in a gaming application comprising: obtaining (305B) a first frame, said first frame being representative of a first action performed by a user in the gaming application; obtaining (500) information representative of a second action performed by the user in the gaming application, said second action following the first action; and, predicting (500) a second frame corresponding to the second action from data comprising at least the first frame and the information representative of a second action using a neural network.

  • Patent number: 11488545
Abstract: Device comprising: a rear panel comprising a network of backlighting elements, a front panel comprising a network of optical valves which are each capable of modulating the brightness of a single primary colour. By the modulation of chrominance which is added to the modulation of luminance for the backlighting elements of the rear panel, the device according to the invention makes it possible to display the images with even more contrast and better quality. A specific control mode makes it possible to avoid the colour “interferences”.

  • Publication number: 20190158731
Abstract: A method and video capture device is provided having a front camera for capturing images of a front scene initially having an object of interest for the user of the device. A rear camera is also included and configured to capture images of the head of a user of the device. The rear camera also includes a processing circuit to estimate the eye movement of the user and the displacement of the object of interest in the front scene captured from the estimated eye movement of the user. The rear camera further includes a decision making circuit to determine, from the estimated displacement of the object of interest, if the object of interest leaves the captured front scene and, when that is the case triggers an action.

  • Patent number: 9847102
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for bounding an object in a video sequence Fx,y,t. The method includes obtaining a subset of pixels located in the object to annotate, in each frame of the video sequence. Spatio-temporal slicing is performed on the video sequence Fx,y,t, centered on the obtained subsets of pixels, resulting in a first image Fy,t obtained by an horizontal concatenation of first slices, comprising the obtained subsets of pixels, and resulting in a second image Fx,t obtained by a vertical concatenation of second slices. A trajectory of the obtained subsets of pixels is displayed on both the first Fy,t and second Fx,t image. A bounding form around the object to annotate is obtained out of four points in each frame of the video sequence, wherein the coordinates of the four points of a frame t are obtained from the coordinates of the points located in the first and second boundary of the first and second image for that frame t.

  • Patent number: 9838757
Abstract: The application concerns a method for transmitting video data in a data stream and associated metadata, said metadata representing associated video data structure. The method comprises the steps of—determining the structure of the video data, —splitting said structure into chunks in an incremental manner, —transmitting said chunks in the data stream at time intervals before the video data it is related to. The application concerns also a method for transmitting fingerprint information associated with video data into a video data stream. The method comprises the steps of: —determining fingerprint associated with at least one frame of said video data, —inserting at least a message into the video stream comprising said fingerprint information.

  • Patent number: 9715509
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for navigating over documents represented by identifiers displayed on a navigation menu. Each document is associated with a plurality of numerical values characterizing it according to a plurality of criteria. Each identifier of a document is placed at a position dependent on a part of the parameter values associated with this document. The whole set of the documents is subdivided into a given number of regions. The sums of the values associated with all the documents of a region and corresponding to a certain number of criteria are virtually equal for each region. The outer contour of the regions is displayed so as to enable its selection. The selection of a region triggers the display in full screen mode of all of the identifiers of the selected region. The invention also relates to a display device capable of executing the navigation method.

  • Publication number: 20160241908
Abstract: A method and an apparatus (2) for simultaneously displaying a first video program and supervising a second video program are described. The method comprises receiving (10) a first and a second video program. A region-of-interest is identified (11) in the second video program. The first video program and information corresponding to at least a portion of the region-of-interest of the second video program are provided (12) to a display, while at least a part of the second video program is recorded (13). In response to a change of the provided information corresponding to at least a portion of the region-of-interest, at least a part of the recorded second video program is retrieved (14) and provided (15) to a display.

  • Patent number: 9418701
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining identifiers associated with segments of a document. Each segment consists of a series of individual elements such as images or sound sequences. Each segment of the document is subdivided into a determined number of portions comprising the same number of individual elements. An individual element is extracted from the most central portion of each segment and associated with the segment as identifier. The invention also relates to the receiver capable of implementing the method.

  • Publication number: 20150356353
Abstract: The invention relates to the technical field of recognition of objects in audiovisual documents. The method uses multimodal data that is collected and stored in a similarity matrix. A level of similarity is determined for each matrix cell. Then a clustering algorithm is applied to cluster the information comprised in the similarity matrix. Clusters are identified, each identified cell cluster identifying an object in the audiovisual document.

  • Publication number: 20150050007
Abstract: The invention pertains to method for segmenting an audiovisual content in a semantic manner and in quick way. To achieve that, pre-segmentation data are generated offline and retrieved by an end user. At the level of the end user, a step of clustering segments is performed. The invention allows also to approach a desired semantic granularity by modifying a clustering threshold. The invention also allows to quickly generate a semantic segmenting for a segment, which allows to the user to quickly browse the audiovisual content.
