    Abstract: Disclosed is a method of preparing a blended thermoplastic resin composition that includes combining a ground crosslinked rubber with a thermoplastic material and a compatibilizer, and the products formed thereby. The ground crosslinked rubber has an average particle size of about 80 mesh or smaller. The thermoplastic material can be a polyolefinic resin or a polyolefinic elastomer or olefinic vulcanizate elastomer. The ground crosslinked rubber is included in amounts of up to 70% by weight, based on the total weight of the blended thermoplastic composition.
