  • Publication number: 20240062146
Abstract: Example aspects of the present disclosure relate to a hybrid approach for scheduling delivery services that seamlessly integrates real-time courier matching with pre-matching batch analysis to optimize courier time. An example method includes accessing delivery data for a subset of a plurality of delivery services that are available for batch delivery assessment. The method includes generating a batched route for at least two delivery services of the subset of delivery services based on the delivery data. The method includes detecting a state change that is associated with a delivery service of the batched route. In response to the state change, the method includes accessing real-time vehicle data indicative of an availability of one or more vehicles and communicating data indicative of the batched route to at least one vehicle of the plurality of vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20240037637
Abstract: Systems and method for dynamically managing add-on orders within a delivery service application. For example, a computer-implemented method includes obtaining data indicative of a primary order request. The method includes selecting, ranking, and displaying menu items for add-on orders associated with a primary order. The method includes obtaining user data provided by a user through a user interface associated with a delivery service application. The method includes determining, in response to obtaining the user data, that the primary order request is eligible for an add-on order. The method includes determining merchants for the add-on order. The selected merchants can be determined from a plurality of candidate merchants based at least in part on analysis of merchant-specific data relative to the user data indicative of the primary order request. The method includes updating the user interface to display data associated with the one or more selected merchants for the add-on order.

  • Patent number: 10646268
Abstract: An actuator assembly for selectively transmitting a heating current from a bipolar electrical generator to a surgical tool includes an actuating component with a connector for mounting the actuator assembly to the tool in a predetermined orientation. A lever arm mounted for rotation to the actuating component controls a switch that introduces current to tool electrodes when the switch is closed. A user holds the tool and the mounted actuator assembly in one hand and operates the switch with an ergonomic lever arm rotatably mounted to the actuating component. Different left- and right-hand versions of the lever arm can be used with the same actuator assembly, or the actuator assembly can accept a different lever arm configuration for use with either hand. In another version, the actuator assembly can include a guard for preventing inadvertent actuation of the switch during one-handed manipulation of the tool.

  • Patent number: 10456192
Abstract: A system for selectively actuating a heating current conductible from a bipolar generator to a surgical tool may comprise an actuator assembly having an output receptacle, an input plug, and an actuating component. The output receptacle may be configured to receive a complementary tool plug of the surgical tool. The input plug may be configured for mating with a generator receptacle receivable of the heating current from the bipolar generator. The generator receptacle may be complementary to the tool plug. The actuating component may have at least one of a switch and a lever arm and may be configured to communicate with the bipolar generator for selectively actuating the heating current to flow from the input plug to the output receptacle upon engagement of the switch or the lever arm.

  • Publication number: 20190313596
Abstract: The present invention is an automatic self-cleaning animal litter apparatus using a hopper/spout assembly and conveyer belt mechanism. The litter apparatus includes a conveyer belt that is controlled using a sensor and controller. The hopper stores fresh litter to be deposited onto the conveyer belt. The spout assembly provides thickness and location control of the fresh litter deposited onto the conveyer belt. A conveyer belt cleaning device underneath the conveyer belt mechanism rids the conveyer belt of the used litter and feces which are then dropped into the receptacle.
