    Abstract: A two-handled shovel in which the shorter shaft of the secondary or lift handle is connected at its lower terminal end to the primary handle at a point proximal its connection with the blade through a connection which enables essentially unlimited rotary direction of the primary handle with respect to the secondary handle during operation. Normally such attachment mechanism is accomplished by the provision of a rotary bushing.
