The method includes placing the brick of asphalt into the oven bag, sealing the oven bag in an airtight manner to prevent the escape of toxic fumes, placing the oven bag into the container, sealing the container, placing the container into a microwave oven, and heating the brick of asphalt in the microwave oven to a temperature sufficient for paving applications.
