  • Patent number: 11952224
Abstract: The particularity of this invention is that the material is injected in the divergent section of the venturi. The innovative material Conveying Venturi tube consist of two parts: the main tube and the feeding tube injecting the material by gravity, at the end of the cylindrical throat into the diffusion section. The venturi is composed of a contraction section, a throat section, and a diffusion section. This device will convey distances exceeding 120 meters. The present invention permits multiple distances conveying by easily install another Conveying Venturi System at the end of the first conveying tube for extra length of conveying.

  • Patent number: 11092373
Abstract: A snow conveying assembly for use with a snow making machine includes an impeller for receiving snow from the snow making machine and accelerating the snow; and an ejector tube, which receives the snow from the impeller, further accelerates the snow and discharges the snow from the assembly. The ejector tube contains a venturi throat. Snow from the impeller is conveyed via a snow inlet tube into the ejector tube immediately upstream of a venturi throat and air under pressure is blown into the ejector tube upstream of the venturi throat to further accelerate the snow.

  • Patent number: 6278909
Abstract: The method and apparatus are for controlling an amount of power supplied to a conditioning device acting on an actual value of a predetermined physical parameter within an area in relation to a setting signal. The method comprising steps of monitoring the setting signal to detect a change thereof, and when a changed setting signal is detected (i) determining a time period and a uniform amount of power required by the conditioning device to cause the actual value of the predetermined physical parameter to theoretically reach a new range of desired values corresponding to the changed setting signal, and (ii) establishing time-related upper and lower limit profiles HLV(t) and LLV(t) of the predetermined physical parameter for the time period determined in step (i).

  • Patent number: 5836514
Abstract: A relatively efficient snowmaking gun which is of the compressed air and water type includes a water tube for receiving water from a source thereof under pressure and discharging the water in an annular diverging stream through an adjustable valve and a turbine which chops the water into fine droplets; and a central nucleator for receiving compressed air from a source thereof and for producing a central stream of fine ice particles downstream of the discharge end of the gun for mixing with the water to produce snow, temperature permitting. A preferred form of nucleator is an ultrasonic resonator for receiving air and water from sources thereof under pressure to produce an annular central stream of fine water droplets in air while creating ultrasonic waves downstream of the gun outlet. The gun can also include a casing defined by inner and outer shells surrounding the water tube and forming an air chamber which receives compressed air for discharge through a plurality of spaced apart nozzles.

  • Patent number: 5180106
Abstract: A device for producing an airborne stream of ice crystals, the device comprising an inner housing mounted within an outer housing to define therewith an air passage having a venturi-shaped zone. A flaring nozzle is mounted to an outlet end of the outer housing. A vaneaxial fan is mounted in the outer housing and cooperates with guide vanes extending between the inner and the outer housing to produce a substantially rectilinear air flow through the passage. A diffuser is mounted adjacent an outlet end of the inner housing for creating an annular and rectilinear stream of air surrounded by a diverging stream of air. A water nozzle and nucleators are mounted in the outlet end of the inner housing to produce water droplets sprayed in the air streams, which freeze to form an airborne stream of ice crystals.

  • Patent number: 4711395
Abstract: A machine for producing artificial snow includes an elongated cylindrical outer casing with a frusto-conical discharge end; a similar inner casing, a tubeaxial fan in the outer casing for creating an annular stream of turbulent air at the discharge end of the outer casing; an adjustable turbine nozzle centrally located at or near the discharge end of the outer casing for spraying a stream of water droplets into the turbulent air to create a stream of water droplets and air; and nucleators at or near the discharge end of the outer casing for spraying very fine droplets of water or nuclei into the stream of water droplets and air, whereby, temperature permitting, a stream of artificial snow is created without large droplets of water or ice dribbling from the stream near the discharge end of the outer casing.
