Patent number: 11979744Abstract: Federation policy exchange is provided in response to receiving a sharing query from an Access Point (AP) indicating that an associated wireless network supports federated identities with data sharing, determining whether the sharing query is within sharing preferences; and in response to determining that the sharing query is within the sharing preferences, transmitting, to the AP, a positive response for identity sharing that authorizes collection and sharing of identity data with at least one entity identified in a sharing policy for the associated wireless network. In various embodiments, federation policy exchange includes transmitting a support notification, via an AP, indicating support for federated identities with data sharing within a wireless network associated with the AP; and in response to receiving a first identify sharing preference from a User Equipment (UE) that indicates that negotiation is preferred, transmitting a sharing policy for the wireless network to the UE.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2021Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: Cisco Technology, Inc.Inventors: Jerome Henry, Louis G. Publication number: 20240067334Abstract: An autonomous vehicle that is equipped with image capture devices can use information gathered from the image capture devices to plan a future three-dimensional (3D) trajectory through a physical environment. To this end, a technique is described for image-space based motion planning. In an embodiment, a planned 3D trajectory is projected into an image-space of an image captured by the autonomous vehicle. The planned 3D trajectory is then optimized according to a cost function derived from information (e.g., depth estimates) in the captured image. The cost function associates higher cost values with identified regions of the captured image that are associated with areas of the physical environment into which travel is risky or otherwise undesirable. The autonomous vehicle is thereby encouraged to avoid these areas while satisfying other motion planning objectives.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 8, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Applicant: Skydio, Inc.Inventors: Ryan David Kennedy, Peter Benjamin Henry, Hayk Martirosyan, Jack Louis Zhu, Abraham Galton Bachrach, Adam Parker Bry

Patent number: 8429624Abstract: An application programming interface (API) implementation that can interface between an application and a programming library. The implementation includes a Function Router Wrapper that receives a formatted string from the application. The formatted string includes a function name element filled with a function name, an input element filled with function input parameters, and an unfilled output element. The Function Router Wrapper converts the formatted string and passes it to a Function Router, which parses the converted formatted string to access the function name and the function input parameters. The Function Router calls a library function based on the accessed information. When the called library function is completed, the Function Router collects generated function outputs and embeds them into the formatted string output element. The Function Router passes the formatted string back up to the Function Router Wrapper, which converts the formatted string and passes it back up to the application.Type: GrantFiled: August 17, 2010Date of Patent: April 23, 2013Assignee: LSI CorporationInventors: Jason Unrein, Louis Henry Odenwald, Jr., Rose George
