  • Patent number: 4682825
Abstract: The security device of this invention comprises a transparent panel normally locked edgewise upright in the plane of front edges of a pair of vertically spaced shelves of a selfservice rack, blocking forward removal of all but the lowermost one or a predetermined few of a stack of like articles on the lower one of those shelves. At its top edge the panel has a link connection with the front edge of the upper of those shelves. Its lower edge portion is received in an upwardly opening groove in a fixed bracket, and the bottom of that groove so supports the panel that the link connection cooperates with resilience of the panel and bracket to provide a snap toggle action between locked and unlocked or releasing conditions. From the releasing condition the panel can be raised edgewise out of the groove and swung up to an inverted position and hooked there, permitting free access to the space between the shelves.

  • Patent number: 4673090
Abstract: A multi-sided merchandise display rack comprises a horizontally disposed base means, a plurality of module side brackets, each pair defining a hinge removably supported by the base means, and display means connected between adjacent side brackets. The side brackets include tube means of C-shaped cross section tapped at the bottom such that screws may be inserted through the base means and threaded into the tapped inner tubes.

  • Patent number: 4652243
Abstract: A display for demonstrating puncture sealant tires includes a housing for supporting a tire in an upright position having a base supporting an upstanding frame, a tire restraint on the frame for holding the tire in its upright position, and a pair of spaced apart rollers rotatably mounted on the base for permitting rotation of the tire with respect to the housing to any desired position. A spike member is mounted on a handle assembly which in turn is pivotally mounted on the housing frame for movement between a first non-puncturing position and a second tire puncturing position. A spring in the form of a flat resilient plastic member is mounted on the handle assembly and acts in opposition to the movement of the handle assembly to bias the handle assembly to its first non-puncturing position.

  • Patent number: 4478338
Abstract: A point of purchase merchandise display assembly including a plurality of merchandise racks arranged in shingled relationship with one another, the racks are mounted for generally vertical sliding movement in the cabinet between a lower merchandise loading position and an upper display position. This sliding movement is accomplished by a pin and groove connection between the racks and the side walls of the cabinet, and brackets are provided on the inner, lower walls of the cabinet for releasably supporting the racks in the upper position and preventing their inadvertent removal; these brackets also support the rack in the lower, loading position.

  • Patent number: 4387810
Abstract: A point of purchase display assembly comprising a pair of generally vertical support walls spaced laterally apart from one another, a plurality of generally rectangular merchandise supporting racks arranged to hang downwardly from said walls and in shingled relationship with one another. Each of the racks has an upper end, means pivotally mounting the upper end to and between the support walls for permitting swinging of the racks between a lower display and an upper generally horizontal loading position for racks located beneath the generally horizontally disposed racks, and other means on the walls and engageable by the rack to hold the latter in the upper position.

  • Patent number: 4265038
Abstract: A display assembly for visibly displaying a wide variety of paint chips and permitting their easy removal from or replacement in the assembly. The assembly includes a plurality of individual holders arranged in partially overlapping and shingled relationship with one another on a support panel and in which the individual holders can be separately removed from the panel and from their interlocking relationship with other holders.

  • Patent number: 4254595
Abstract: A cover formed of sheet material which is removably placed over a roof gutter to prevent the accumulation and build-up of ice in the gutter and under the roof shingles. The cover extends under the lower row of shingles on the roof and then over the gutter where its leading edge is removably attached to the outer edge of the gutter. The outer edge of the cover has a generally U-shaped groove formed of spaced apart downwardly extending flanges which embrace the bead of the groove to hold the cover securely but removably in place. Other forms of covers having different gutter attaching means are also provided.

  • Patent number: 4073557
Abstract: A display case and a merchandise display rack for supporting a plurality of such display cases around its circumference in a radial relationship. The merchandise display rack includes a plurality of relatively movable support members provided with cooperating spindles which are adapted to support the display cases and adapted to be simultaneously locked against displacement by a common locking mechanism to prevent unauthorized removal of the display cases. The display cases are trapezoidal in shape so that they can be received around the circumference of the display rack in radial relationship and each display case includes spaced aligned bores for receiving the spindles of the merchandise display rack. The display cases may be used to support a wristwatch therein and include a one piece base for supporting the wristwatch and a transparent cover including means for engaging the base.
