  • Electrophoretic migration imaging process with neutral density bisazo pigments

    Abstract: An improved electrophoretic imaging process is provided wherein the improvement comprises the use of electrostatic charge-bearing particles having an electrically photosensitive pigment which is the reaction product of 2,3-naphthalenediol and a diazonium salt. Preferred pigments have the following structure: ##STR1## wherein: R.sup.1 is a lower alkoxy group or --OCH.sub.2 CONH.sub.2 ;R.sup.2 is H or NO.sub.2 ; andR.sup.3 is H or --SO.sub.2 NH.sub.2.
