    Abstract: There is provided an improved operating roof vent of plastic such as translucent resin for mounting in a vent opening of a roof. An inner one piece combination screen and garnish member telescopically mates with an outer one piece cowl member. A combination one piece cover and hinge closes the cowl member, with the hinge being secured to the cowl member to provide for swinging opening and closing of the cover.
