Abstract: An electrosurgical apparatus comprising an electrosurgical forceps instrument that combines la robust jaw opening mechanism with an a microwave energy delivery mechanism. The instrument includes a rigid bracket mounted at a distal end of a flexible shaft, wherein a pair of jaws are pivotably mounted on the rigid bracket. The instrument includes an energy delivery structure comprising a flexible dielectric substrate having a first electrode and an second electrode formed on one of the pair of jaws, wherein the first electrode and the second electrode are arranged to emit microwave energy. The electrosurgical apparatus may also comprise a handpiece that combines rotation control of an electrosurgical instrument with both power delivery and end effector actuation (e.g. jaw closure, blade retraction or the like).

Abstract: A high temperature heat integration method of making carbon black. A method of making carbon black is described, including reacting a carbon black forming feedstock with hydrogen gas in a plasma reactor to produce effluent gas containing carbon black and unused hydrogen, cooling the effluent gas for further processing, and recycling the unused hydrogen back into the carbon black forming process, where the unused hydrogen gas is pre-heated in a heat exchanger to a temperature up to the reaction temperature in the reactor before being recycled into the carbon black forming process. The heat exchanger for use in such process is also described.

Abstract: A series of fused pentacyclic imidazole derivatives, being potent modulators of human TNFa activity, are accordingly of benefit in the treatment and/or prevention of various human ailments, including autoimmune and inflammatory disorders; neurological and neurodegenerative disorders; pain and nociceptive disorders; cardiovascular disorders; metabolic disorders; ocular disorders; and oncological disorders. In particular, the present invention is concerned with 6, 7-dihydro-7, 14-methanobenzimidazo[1, 2-b][2,5]benzodiazocin-5(14H)-one derivatives and analogs thereof.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a multipurpose hose clamp. The hose clamp is capable of rotating laterally in a 360-degree orientation in clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The multipurpose clamp includes a round, flat, thin, single-gear band, and a clamping device. The clamping device or screw cage is separable from the band. A screw is configured to twist or turn into the clamping device and engages the slots disposed on the band to increase or decrease a diameter of the hose clamp. The multipurpose clamp can be applied to any type of hose, for example, water hoses, automobile hoses, radiator hoses, air vent hoses, etc. The screw cage is designed to rotate 360-degrees in either clockwise or counterclockwise directions.

Abstract: Included are method, article of manufacture, and device that serve to embed a universal script object into programming code used for rendering a web page, convert the universal script object into JavaScript, and upon receiving a request for a web page, send the converted and embedded universal script object towards a requestor. The universal script object may be converted from HTML or some other language.

Abstract: A mounting system for attaching items on railing spindles includes a plurality of rails, a fastener, and a rail hook for attaching accessories. The mounting system is configured to removably mount the rails to railing spindles without causing damage to the railing spindles, wherein the fastener is comprised of a first element configured to engage a surface of a flanged aperture on a second rail, and a second element configured to engage a first and second major surface of a first rail through aligned apertures of the first rail. The rail hook is then selectively attachable to the plurality of rails, wherein a plurality of accessories may be attached to the rail hooks for attaching items to railing spindles.

An insulating layer having surface features reversibly engageable with the surface protrusions of the connecting layer can be reversibly attached to the connecting layer by engaging the surface features of the at least one elongated hollow element with the surface protrusions of the connecting layer.

A unique language independent key may be identified based on this subsequent key search. By performing key searches and suggesting a second locale to narrow the number of language independent keys, the time in identifying a unique language independent key is reduced and efficiency is improved.

Abstract: A feed or mineral supplement for animals, especially deer, contains effective amounts of sulfur and garlic to repel insects from the animals. By inducing the insect repellent into the animal via ingestion of the attractant, disease and stress in the animals as caused by the insects is reduced. A feed is easily modified by adding the effective amounts of the garlic and sulfur to the feed.

Abstract: A regimen for hunting includes using a number of zeolite-containing personal items in connection with a hunter's apparel and body to reduce the hunter's scent for improved hunting. The personal items include mouthwash, deodorant/anti-perspirant, body and boot powder, bar and liquid soap for cleansing the body and hair, laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Each of the personal items includes an effective amount of zeolite, so that use of the personal items reduces the available scent to be detected by animals in the wild. The regimen can also include the use of a seat cushion that is covered with an activated carbon-containing fabric for odor control and/or elimination.
