  • Patent number: 6289627
Abstract: A folding stowable trolling rig for removably mounting a plurality of fishing rods in desired, operable positions above the deck of a boat, such rig mounting atop a standard fishing seat pedestal of the type found on bass boats and requiring no tools or special hardware for installation. It is comprised of a plurality of longitudinally spaced rod holders pivotally mounted to a pair of folding support arms, one end of each being pivotally attached to either side of a central mounting base, the underside of which having a post that inserts into the seat mounting socket atop the fishing seat pedestal. Automatic alignment of each rod holder, both in folded and opened positions, is controlled by a pair of alignment bars pivotally mounted to the holders and to either side of the mounting base just above and parallel to the support arms. The rod holders and the support arms all fold together into compact alignment for transporting or stowing.

  • Patent number: 5228404
Abstract: A catamaran suspension system is mounted between the deck (16) and hulls (11) of a catamaran (10). The suspension system has a pair of tracks (31), (32) mounted to the deck on which carriages (33) having a shock absorber (38) are movably mounted. A pivotable arm (44) is mounted between each carriage and a hull of the catamaran with a strut (50) pivotably mounted between the arm and deck. The suspension system dampens the forces exerted on the hull through the movement of the carriages to minimize deck movement.

  • Patent number: 4045926
Abstract: An easily erected roof structure designed to be transported in a conventional trailer truck, which is particularly adapted for use in relatively low cost modular buildings. The roof structure has a centrally located roof section with two side roof sections hinged to opposite sides of the central section. During transportation the central roof section is disposed horizontally proximate the top of the trailer, and the side roof sections are parallel to the trailer side walls, extending substantially vertically downward from the central section to which they are hinged with the lower edges of the side sections resting on the bed of the trailer. Mounted underneath the central section are permanent support legs which are disposed, during transportation, in a folded or parked position spaced above and clear of the bed of the truck. The roof structure is unloaded from the truck by rolling or sliding the lowermost edges of the side sections along the trailer floor.
