  • Patent number: 4263639
Abstract: An improved light dispersion system for fluorescent lighting fixtures includes a plurality of horizontal diffuser panels suspended below a light source. An upper set of diffuser panels are spaced apart to define a light passageway. A lower diffuser panel is positioned in registration with the light passageway for intercepting and reflecting incident light. Both the upper and lower diffuser panels further scatter transmitted light by refraction. A chromatic lens filter is selectively insertable within the light passageway for modifying the resultant color spectrum.

  • Patent number: 3981031
Abstract: An improved portable inclined bedrest is secured to a bed by the weight of the mattress. A tubular steel frame is vertically extendible from within a storage housing and can be locked in position at selected heights above the mattress by the rotatable movement of a pair of swing arms mounted on the frame. A slant sheet for propping a pillow is affixed along an upper edge to the frame. The lower edge of the slant sheet is releasably fastened to the swing arms. The return movement of the swing arms to the initial position releases the frame for retraction into the storage housing.

  • Patent number: 3973356
Abstract: A caddy providing a protective enclosure for the delivery and display of house plants and cut flowers. The caddy includes a receptacle and interfitting cover. The cover is telescopically slidable over the receptacle and the height is adjustable for accommodating a range of flower sizes and stem lengths. The cover is securable at incremental heights by the cooperative action of a harness attached within the receptacle and extendible through selected registration slots in the receptacle for engagement with the cover. The harness further provides a carrying support for the caddy. The receptacle is also functional as a display vase.
