    Abstract: An apparatus cuts a saturated sheet into wide and narrow sheets, coats the top and bottom surfaces of the wider sheet with bituminous coating adhesive, shifts the location of the narrower sheet to a position so that the centerlines of each sheet are in alignment, coats the back of the narrower sheet with bituminous adhesive, and laminates the aligned sheets with the narrower sheet adhered to the bottom surface of the wider sheet. The sheets are then cooled, cut into predetermined shapes and packaged. The shaped laminated shingle is also claimed.
