  • Patent number: 11956172
Abstract: There is provided generating, at a cell configured for a first air interface protocol, a reference signal based on a cell identifier for a second air interface protocol. At the cell configured for the first air interface protocol it is determined an air interface resource allocation for the first air interface protocol based on the cell identifier for the second air interface protocol. The cell configured for the first air interface protocol transmits the generated reference signal according to the determined air interface resource allocation.

  • Publication number: 20240113839
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for interleaved control channel element to resource element group mapping within a portion of a control resource set. A method may include determining a first set of parameters having a first configuration for a first control resource set including a plurality of resource element groups. The method also includes determining an interleaver block size of each of a plurality of interleaver blocks. The plurality of interleaver blocks are formed by dividing the control resource set in time and numbering the interleaver blocks. The method further includes mapping the plurality of resource element groups to control channel elements, such that resource element groups of a first interleaver block, which are a subset of the plurality of resource element groups, are mapped to the control channel elements before mapping resource element groups of any subsequent interleaver block of the plurality of interleaver blocks to control channel elements.

  • Publication number: 20240098648
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for power state transition handling for energy harvesting aware user equipment are provided. For example, a method can include sending, by a user equipment, a message to a network indicating either a power state transition or non-transition. The power state transition can correspond to the user equipment transitioning from a first power state to a second power state based on an available energy of the user equipment. The method can also include receiving, by the user equipment, an information message from the network in accordance with the power state transition.

  • Publication number: 20240098649
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for power state transition handling for energy harvesting aware user equipment are provided. For example, a method can include monitoring an energy level and power state of a user equipment. The method can also include determining whether the energy level satisfies a power state transition criterion. The method can further include transitioning from a first power state to a second power state based on the power state transition criterion being determined to be satisfied by the energy level of the user equipment.

  • Publication number: 20230421186
Abstract: A UE receives configuration for interference mitigation pattern(s) indicating which resource elements in a time-frequency resource space should be measured. The UE performs interference measurements based on the received one or more interference mitigation patterns. A network node determines configuration for interference mitigation pattern(s0 indicating which resource elements in a time-frequency resource space should be measured by a user equipment. The network node sends, toward the user equipment, the configuration for use by the user equipment to perform interference measurements of the one or more interference mitigation patterns.
