  • Publication number: 20200279621
Abstract: Systems, computer-implemented methods, and computer program products that can facilitate scheduling processing and summarization of an electronic medical record based on a summarization deadline are provided. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a memory that stores computer executable components and a processor that executes the computer executable components stored in the memory. The computer executable components can comprise a task manager component that can determine a processing priority of one or more data bundles of an electronic medical record based on a summarization deadline of the electronic medical record. The computer executable components can further comprise a cognitive analysis component that can employ an artificial intelligence model to process the one or more data bundles based on the processing priority.

  • Patent number: 9009723
Abstract: A method for managing distributed computer data stream acceleration devices is provided that utilizes distributed acceleration devices on nodes within the computing system to process inquiries by programs executing on the computing system. The available nodes and available acceleration devices in the computing system are identified. In addition, a plurality of virtual acceleration device definitions is created. Each virtual acceleration device definition includes attributes used to configure at least one of the plurality of identified acceleration devices. When an inquiry containing an identification of computing system resources to be used in processing the inquiry is received, at least one virtual acceleration device definition that is capable of configuring an acceleration device in accordance with the computing system resources identified by the inquiry is identified.

  • Patent number: 8095494
Abstract: A method for cross-triggering transitions in independent finite state machines is provided. For a given plurality of finite state machine definitions having a plurality of states and a plurality of transitions among the states, two or more independent instances of the plurality of finite state machine definitions are created. In addition, associations between two or more of the independent finite state machine instances are identified. The method uses cross-triggering rules that identify a condition in a first one of the associated independent finite state machine instances that triggers a transition action in a second one of the associated independent finite state machine instances. Each cross-triggering rule is triggered upon an occurrence of the cross-triggering rule condition, and the transition action in the second associated independent finite state machine instance is performed in response to the triggering of the cross-triggering rule.

  • Patent number: 7908437
Abstract: Methods for serving data include maintaining an incomplete version of an object at a server and at least one fragment at the server. In response to a request for the object from a client, the incomplete version of the object, an identifier for a fragment comprising a portion of the objects and a position for the fragment within the object are sent to the client. After receiving the incomplete version of the object, the identifier, and the position, the client requests the fragment from the server using the identifier. The object is constructed by including the fragment in the incomplete version of the object in a location specified by the position.
