  • Publication number: 20240081358
Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate generally to plant extract compositions and methods to isolate cutin-derived monomers, oligomers, and mixtures thereof for application in agricultural coating formulations, and in particular, to methods of preparing plant extract compositions that include functionalized and non-functionalized fatty acids and fatty esters (as well as their oligomers and mixtures thereof), which are substantially free from accompanying plant-derived compounds (e.g., proteins, polysaccharides, phenols, lignans, aromatic acids, terpenoids, flavonoids, carotenoids, alkaloids, alcohols, alkanes, and aldehydes) and can be used in agricultural coating formulations.

  • Publication number: 20220371362
Abstract: One or more wheel apparatuses are provided. The wheel apparatus comprises one or more rigid climbing members that extend to the outer perimeter of the wheel apparatus and are configured to maintain shape and/or relative position over all surfaces the wheel apparatus encounters. The wheel apparatus comprises one or more selective flex zones located adjacent to rigid climbing members, constructed to be passively compressed when the wheel apparatus encounters an obstacle in the path of the wheel apparatus. The wheel apparatus comprises one or more support zones located adjacent to selective flex zones that provide support for smooth rotary motion when not traversing obstacles.

  • Patent number: 10563661
Abstract: A vertically shafted air moving device for circulating air includes a housing that defines an internal space. A shell is coupled to and extends from a top of the housing. The shell is meshed. The shell is configured to allow air to enter and exit the shell. A power module and a motor are coupled to the housing and are positioned in the internal space. The motor is operationally coupled to the power module. A shaft is coupled to and extends from the motor into the shell. Each of a plurality of blades is coupled to and extends from the shaft to proximate to an interior face of the shell. The motor is positioned to compel rotation of the shaft coincident with the blades. The blades are configured to circulate air in proximity to the shell.

  • Publication number: 20150165330
Abstract: A powered swing device is provided that imparts a swinging motion onto the chains of a child's swing set. The device comprises an upper cross member and a pair of rotatable swing arm members extending downward therefrom along the ends of the cross member. The ends of the cross member secure to the swing chain by way of outward post members that fit through opposing open chain links of the swing chain. Each of the swing arm members include a lower outward post member to attach through a chain link below the cross member. An internal electric motor drives the swing arm members in a reciprocal motion, while the upper and lower post members impart the motion onto the swing chain. The speed of the swing arms is controllable, while a radio is provided for further entertainment purposes. Overall, the device allows for swinging a child without adult assistance.

  • Patent number: 7229086
Abstract: An improved vehicle sway control assembly designed to limit excessive side swaying of front engine rear axle driven motor vehicles during all driving conditions. The system utilizes two frame brackets (77), (97), one axle/spring bracket (129), and two rods (35), (67). The first rod (35) has one end attached to a frame bracket (77) and the other end to the axle/spring bracket (129). It incorporates a telescoping feature allowing the rod end nearest the frame bracket (77) to telescope. The second rod (67) is attached on the opposite side to a frame bracket (97) on one end and a mid section plate (34) on the telescoping rod (35) on the other end. The counter rotational arch of the second rod (67) will force the telescoping rod (35) to extend thus canceling the telescoping rod (35) arch curve travel if it were a solid rod. The overall design will limit axle (166) to frame (78) side movement while providing near straight vertical axle (166) travel.
