  • Patent number: 11855858
Abstract: A method includes receiving a subscription request to obtain notifications of events pertaining to the data file that has been previously uploaded by a user account associated with a user device and stored at the cloud-based file system. The subscription request identifies a destination address for the notifications generated in accordance with the subscription request and one or more events, among multiple events, corresponding to the data file that are to prompt the notifications to be transmitted to the destination address associated with the networked device. The method includes determining that the subscription request is authorized, and identifying an occurrence of an event from the one or more events specified in the subscription request and involving the data file. The method includes transmitting to the destination address a notification indicating the occurrence of the event involving the data file.

  • Publication number: 20220398778
Abstract: A method and system for calibrating a digital imaging apparatus by placing an object of known dimensions in a camera field of view, creating a digital image of the object, measuring the object dimensions in the digital image, creating a mathematical relationship between the object dimensions and the measured object dimensions in the digital image, creating n additional digital images each image having a distinct camera zoom level; measuring the position of a plurality of locations on the object for the n additional images, calculating a value for said locations in the n additional digital images, linking corresponding locations in the n additional images to create a calibration metric for a plurality of zoom values and calibrating any lens by comparing the zoom position of the lens in a camera with the calibration value. The present invention reduces calibration time and generates images which can be quickly verified by the operator.

  • Patent number: 11470029
Abstract: Machine learning based methods for the analysis and reporting of suspicious email are disclosed. In one aspect, there is a method that includes displaying a user-selectable icon to report a suspicious electronic message. The method further includes receiving selections of the electronic message and the user-selectable icon. The method further includes quarantining the electronic message in response to the selections. The method further includes electronically communicating the electronic message to a processor for performing threat analysis in response to the selections. The method further includes receiving a response message in response to the performed threat analysis, the response message indicating a threat status of the electronic message.

  • Patent number: 11411837
Abstract: A subscription request to obtain notifications of actions pertaining to the data file that has been previously stored at the cloud-based file system is received. The subscription request identifies the networked device and a set of actions to the data file that are to prompt the notifications to be transmitted to the networked device. An occurrence of an action is identified from the set of actions specified in the subscription request and involving the data file. Responsive to identifying the occurrence of the action from the set of actions involving the data file and in view of the subscription request identifying the networked device, a notification indicating the occurrence of the action involving the data file is transmitted to the networked device.

  • Patent number: 10476758
Abstract: A cloud-based file system receives a subscription request associated with a networked device and identifying a set of one or more resources of the cloud-based file system and a set of one or more resource modifications. The cloud-based file system determines whether the networked device is authorized to access the resource, and, if so, records a subscription based on the subscription request. In response to a user, an application, or other suitable entity making a modification in the set of modifications to a resource in the set of resources, the cloud-based file system generates a notification to the networked device and to other networked devices with subscriptions that include the modification to the resource. The notification may identify the subscription with which the notification is associated, provide information identifying the modification, or provide other suitable information.

  • Patent number: 9405602
Abstract: A method for notifying and tasking computer applications hosted by an application execution system by computer applications external to the application execution system is provided. An external computer application may use an external Task queue API to add tasks to the internal application's task queue. The internal application can then see the tasks and act upon the tasks at a convenient, non-busy time for the internal application. An intermediary subscription system may manage an internal application's event subscriptions. When an event occurs, the intermediary subscription system may add a task to the subscribing internal application's task queue. A second intermediate system manages the access control list of an internal application's task queue. This system restricts access to the task queue to only those external applications that are explicitly granted permission in the internal application's task queue configuration file.

  • Publication number: 20150019701

  • Patent number: 6104203
Abstract: A test apparatus (1) has a temperature controlled chuck (8) which provides good mechanical stability across a wide temperature range. This significantly reduces the number of times the probes (9) must be re-positioned, and in some cases eliminates such re-positioning. The chuck (8) has a support plate (20) which is connected to a base plate (35) by pillars (40) which have a low thermal expansion coefficient. This limits thermal expansion between the support plate (20) and the base plate (35). In addition, the heat transfer means is mounted so that thermal expansion is accommodated internally.
